Field Supervisor
POSITION SUMMARY:
∙Ensure faithful implantation of client care in the homes.
∙Conduct in-field supervisory visits and weekly house checks
∙Be available by phone 24/7
∙Work collaboratively with all management team members to create an environment that
supports the facility’s mission to provide the best support services and skills training to people
with disabilities in the New Orleans area.
QUALIFICATIONS:
∙High school diploma or equivalent, college degree is preferred
∙Proficient in Microsoft Office®
∙Have (3) work-related references
∙Have a valid driver’s license, in good standing
∙Have a vehicle in safe operating condition, with current inspection sticker
∙Have current, valid vehicle insurance
∙Pass a criminal background check
∙Complete COVID-19 vaccination
∙Previous supervisory experience

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
∙Interview prospective DSP staff, as needed
∙Back-up classroom trainer for new hire orientation and other staff trainings
∙Ensures comprehensive in-field new hire orientation training for Direct Support Professionals
(DSPs)
∙Completes in-home supervisory visits for DSPs within 60-days of hire and at least annually
thereafter
∙Report and track maintenance issues
∙On-call duties from Friday afternoon to Monday morning, every third weekend or as needed
∙Assist in coordinating relief staff if a scheduled employee does not show up or cancels
∙If the Staff & Scheduling Coordinator and Lead Staff/Field Supervisor are unsuccessful in filling
the shift, the Lead Staff/Field Supervisor is responsible for working the shift
∙Assist staff to print check stubs & reset passwords
∙Other duties as assigned
